ZJ: Hey, everyone! I hope you had a wonderful holiday. I know I did! Now, a little while ago during one of my live shows, I mentioned that I got a new camera. And some of my viewers suggested that I should sell the old one. And I asked them, "who would want to buy that?" And surprisingly, a bunch of people said, "Me! I would! I'll buy it!"
As it turns out, they weren't really interested in it for its functionality, but rather because it's mine and I've used it. Which is good, because compared to the cameras that are available now, it's really nothing special.
It's a 5.1 megapixel DXG 552. It's about three years old, it's in good condition and everything still works. It can record video, and I've used it for a few videos, so you can get an idea of the picture and sound quality. It comes with internal memory, but not much, so I'll just throw in a 2GB SD card. There might even be some secret pictures on it! It doesn't come with any software, and Windows just treats it as a removable disk. And, of course, it has my signature on it.
So, if you'd like to own a genuine ZJ artifact, this is your opportunity. I'm putting it on eBay, the link is in the sidebar, and bidding closes in a week.
Now, I would feel kind of uncomfortable about selling something for more than it's worth just for personal gain. That's why 100% of the proceeds from the sale will go to Heifer International. This is a charity that donates livestock to developing nations in order to provide a sustainable food source for communities in need.
And for only $20, you can give a flock of geese to someone in the third world. Some of them can lay up to 75 eggs a year. They even provide fertilizer, and for someone who actually needs it, that's a benefit, not an inconvenience. And you're not just donating a flock of geese, but also all of the offspring those geese will have, which can be given to more people.
So for every $20 you spend on this piece of ZJ history, that will buy another flock of geese for someone who needs them. Seriously, you can send geese to strangers on the other side of the planet. And you'll get my camera, too! How cool is that?
