true never let religion take power again it is the spirit of religion that makes the church do the things that hurt so many, and there for turns them away from god just like you, you were disenfranchised by the catholic church because they would not accept you and your spirit of homosexuality into the fold as it did everyone else I can see that because when you live your whole life with a spiritual influence as great as homosexuality, it is hard to let go of that bondage and accept the grace god has for you.
