Yeah, I haven't updated in a little while. Not too much going on. My grandma's going to die soon, likely in the next couple of days. There's nothing sadder than the look on somebody's face when they know they're going to die, and have completely given up on living.
We had quite a bit of activity here last night. Z decided to be an idiot, pretend to be John Titor on ABS, and then make the ABS members think I was coming back (never going to happen). In the thread Z posted, Meglo decided to be an idiot and post a link to Framework. Obviously, I don't want thousands of morons knowing about our little slice of utopia. A poll was created in Framework to ban Meglo, at which point he created several accounts in a (futile) attempt to sway the vote. He was banned, and his extra accounts were removed. He then began to tell people in the ABS IRC channel about Framework. This may be continuing, but I don't really care. I'm just sick of him messing around, annoying people, and trying to ruin everything. His IP is 69.144.180.63 and his email is bitdeviant@yahoo.com. I'm considering reporting him to his ISP for abuse. At the same time as Meglo's repeated advertising of Framework, the server hosting EMPTV received a severe DDoS attack from what appeared to be a Korean botnet. At the time, we believed it was Meglo's doing, until logs showed that this had been going on since the 4th. Sinner, with the help of PortSentry, was able to block the attack after a couple of hours. Sinner, you rock. Cyber_Cowboy compiled the PortSentry logs into this list of attacking IPs. Blocking them would probably be in your best interest. Cyber_Cowboy, you also rock. Things seemed to have calmed down now, although matttheguy noticed that Meglo seems to be a bit of a "cyberstalker" who follows him from IRC network to network. I'll keep updating as the situation changes.
Also, Jaketeck bought me an SA Forums account in exchange for web design. SA is an awesome place, it's the highest quality forum I've ever seen. Thanks, Jaketeck!
